Beaver Valley May Days - Registrations

The directors of Beaver Valley May Days Society invite you to participate in our May Days events.

The purpose of Beaver Valley May Days Society is to provide a fun weekend for all ages in the Beaver Valley region. Following last year’s successful program, we have expanded the number and types of activities to appeal to a wider range of adults, children and seniors. In 2011, Beaver Valley May Days will take place during the weekend of May 27, 28, and 29.

Parade Registration

We hope that your organization will be able to participate in the parade that will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday..

The parade has always been a highlight of May Days and we are hoping for even greater participation this year. Floats, decorated vehicles, marching bands, children and adults in costumes . . . all are welcome.

Karaoke

As part of Saturday’s Beaver Valley May Days Party-in-the-Park celebration, we are hosting a karaoke and invite all who are interested in participating. We hope to fill a two-hour time slot. If you are not a performer, we invite you to come and cheer on those who are. Food and drinks will be available, and tables and tents will be set up for your dining and viewing pleasure. Come and help make this showcase of talent a truly community event!

Texas Hold’em Weekend Poker Tournament

This is back by popular demand. There will be two separate tournaments, one Friday and one Saturday. Each will start at 7:00 pm in the Beaver Valley Curling rink. Tickets ($40) will be pre-sold and are available from Petrocan in Fruitvale and at the door. Slo-Pitch Registration

This is the registration for the slo-pitch tournament. There will be two separate divisions. One will be competitive and one will be non-competitive. We are hoping that the non-competitive teams are preferably family or business teams. The prices for a team are $300 for a competitive team and $200 for a non-competitive team. There will be six men and four women per team. Each team will be guaranteed at least three games.
